Kathy
Sweeney, CPRW, CCM and president of Senior Executive
Resumes, has recently been elected as the Second Vice
President of the National Association of Resume Writers
by the Board of Directors.
Founded
early in 1997, the National Résumé Writers' Association
(NRWA) is a not-for-profit, member-driven organization
dedicated to promoting high standards of excellence
in resume writing.
As
Second Vice President, Sweeney will be in charge of
media relations and the planning and execution of
the annual conference. The conference, which is attended
by numerous resume writers, provides educational opportunities
for members.
"I
was excited to learn of my election to the Second
Vice President position," said Sweeney. "NRWA is an
outstanding organization and I hope I can bring value
to the membership by providing exceptional media exposure
and fantastic educational opportunities during the
annual conference."
Sweeney
brings more than 19 years of experience in the resume
writing industry to the position, as well as her expertise
in press release authoring, which has gained her exposure
in more than 40 newspapers across the world.
